Unforgettable day: my little God-daughter Megan was brought back home from the hospital! Born during the night & brought home on the day of her birth. Rent-a-Crowd had gathered to stay on the farm for the excitement: Grandparents, aunts & uncles; cousins & chaos… Megan was baby number 5, so 1 elder sister Shauna; 3 brothers Patrick, Twins: Michael & Timothy & 2 cousins, St.John & Luke: making quite a kiddie-crowd around her little bundle. 5 of which were Boys… with farm muddy hands & might I mention a few snotty noses
yuck. So here’s precious bundle & an adoring mob.

Survivor: Megan: Peeping in on the grown-ups chatter after her bedtime.
Stern grown-up voices calling “Wash your hands they are filthy! Don’t touch her face! Get your fingers out her mouth! …& don’t come near, your nose needs a wipe! Your face is like a glazed doughnut! Go & WASH!”
Then, evening came… at family prayer time, the sitting room was packed, Rosary Decade was prayed & then individual prayers… we were not prepared for what was coming! The children overwhelmed us with expressing the magnitude of their joy as they spoke to God. “Thank You, God, this has been the BEST day of my WHOLE LIFE!” & “Thank You Father, this has been better than Christmas!” …There wasn’t a dry eye in the room from the grown-ups, we were put to shame! We’d yelled at the kids more than ever, & missed it! These Little Ones were full of praise for what God had done in their lives. How cute. God must have been beaming down on them delighting in His Gift.
