You can’t make it through Holy Week in one piece! Not if you are uniting with Jesus, anyway! You go through it all, in some diminutive form, the whole preoccupation with The Beloved, like having a dear one in a critical state in I.C.U. on the brink of life & death. Ones mind is never far from their side, no matter what one is doing in the physical world that demands our attention. So it is with Our Beloved, Jesus, the more lent draws on the more one is drawn to His Side, to console, to weep forgiveness, to adore, to make amends & grow in holiness, to kiss this Lord Who gave All, for us. To walk more closely with Him. The build up, The Last Supper, The Agony, The Betrayal, The Arrest, The Trial, The Insults & Spittle, The False Accusations & Mockery, being put ‘on show’. 
Beating, Scourging, Crowning, Bleeding, the dust, the heat of the sun burning fresh wounds, bruises, thorns digging deep into your skull, dizziness, thirst, hunger … for Love, kindness, compassion, Life! & yes, the need to eat to keep up ones strength… for the Cross.
But in dying with Him, we will also rise with Him… thanks be to God! It doesn’t end in a stone cold tomb… but in Fullness of Life! Bursting with Light & Glory! Alleluia.
So, courage! as we travel this path of suffering with Him in Holy Week. Our Saviour does not leave us there, but carries us with Him on the clouds high above the world in raptures known only to those unafraid of intimacy with God.

Who said I wanted to be Silver?
Exactly! In these last and evil days, and they are dwindling down to just days [only the Father of all knows exactly how many]. We should put all of our entire faith and trust in Jesus Christ our Passover Lamb, Who knew no sin, but became sin on our behalf. It is His blood that covers us and redeems us from sin. Jesus is our one and only hope in this world. When we all stand before Him to be judged at the Mercy seat, we need to make sure that we trust wholly, and completely in the Cross of Christ and not man made dogmas and canons for, it’s the Blood of Jesus and His redemptive power that can save us.
Jack, it is by the Blood of The Lamb, Jesus, for sure. But let us not forget that He set up a Church that would endure “Upon this rock I will build My Church & the gates of Hell will not prevail against it” Matt. 16: 18-19, & 1 Tim. 3:15 “the pillar & foundation of Truth is the Church”. This Church gave us the Cannon of Scripture, & gives infallible Dogma, as Jesus declared, “Flesh & blood has not revealed this to you but My Father in Heaven, …you are Peter & upon this rock I will build My Church & the gates of the underworld will never overpower it. I will give you the Keys of the Kingdom of Heaven: whatever you bind on earth will be bound in Heaven; whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in Heaven.” Matt. 16:18-19 The Keys of the Kingdom are an ancient Office, a Prime Ministerial role as seen in Isaiah 22:22; held by Joseph in Egypt, & seen elsewhere in Scripture. This Church continues just as Jesus said it would prevail, proclaiming Truth as 1 Tim. 3:15 declares. Not through human effort, but by Divine Guarantee, an action of the Holy Spirit & The Father in Heaven. This Church has an unbroken line of succession from Peter right down to the current Holy Father, the Pope. This Office is the ‘Father’ role, we call the Pope, Papa, or Holy Father.
Ephesians 3:7-10
“Of this gospel I was made a minister according to the gift of God’s grace which was given me by the working of his power. To me, though I am the very least of all the saints, this grace was given, to preach to the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all men see what is the plan of the mystery hidden for ages in God who created all things; that through THE CHURCH the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the principalities and powers in the heavenly places.” Awesome!
