I mean – is Tithing really important?
Much of the globe is in a financially tight time, right now.
Do we have 10% ‘spare’ to dish out?
What’s the deal? Is it a big deal?
Does God really care if I tithe?
YES! … Why?
Because He longs to bless us! God has placed Spiritual Laws, in action, with cause & effect.
We may not know these spiritual laws, but the enemy does. The “accuser of the brethren” holds us accountable before God to these spiritual laws. Tithing is one of these . Just listen to this:
“With the same measure that you use, it will be
measured back to you.”
(Luke 6:38)
“Will a man rob God? Yet you have robbed Me!
But you say, ‘In what way have we robbed You?’
“In tithes & offerings.
You are cursed with a curse,
for you have robbed Me,
even this whole nation.
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse,
that there may be food in My House,
& try Me now in this,” says the Lord of Hosts,
“If I will not open for you the windows of Heaven
& pour out for you
such blessing
that there will not be room
enough to receive it.
And I will rebuke the devourer
for your sakes,
so that he will not destroy the
fruit of your ground,
nor shall the vine fail to bear
fruit for you in the field,”
says the Lord of Hosts;
“And all nations will call you blessed,
for you will be a delightful land,”
says the Lord of Hosts.
(Mal. 3:8-12)
Wow, God has given us a mighty hint! Just like in Deuteronomy where He says: “I set before you Life & Death, Blessing & Curse … choose LIFE that it may go well with you…”
“He who is faithful in what is least
is faithful also in much”
(Luke 16:10)

Good Morning, Dear Friend! On Tithing: My husband, Tom, was a major encourager for others to Tithe – for TWO VERY GOOD REASONS:
REASON #1 If you can’t believe Malachi 3:10 what makes you think you can believe John 3:16
REASON #2 It is the only place in the Bible where GOD says, “TEST ME!”
Malachi 3:10 reads: Bring the full tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house; and thereby put me to the test, says the LORD of hosts, if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing.

what does God need of my pithy tips? Jesus wasn’t too impressed with the commercial side of the Temple
Brian, God doesn’t need our pithy tips … but WE NEED to GIVE … because it opens us up to receive more of God’s blessing. God doesn’t need our praise, but we need to praise, why? -because praise doesn’t change God, praise changes us!
P.s. Brian, God wants our faithfulness & obedience …then He works the miraculous! He doesn’t need us… but we need Him. He KNOWS what’s best for us. We can trust Him
Tithing is one way God proves who or what is lord in our lives, what or Who sits on the throne of your heart … Money? …Self ? or Jesus ?
HE KNOWS but do we realize what rules us? Are we truly FREE? He came to set us free. Is it going to be His Way? …or our way?
Our struggle is not really with Tithing … but self.
” …as for me & my house, we will serve The Lord!”
Brian? Since GOD invited you to test Him – do that just for one month. Let him pour some blessings out for you. He won’t mind if you are just doing it to test Him. It was His idea.
