How to embody: Divine Mercy

How to: Be Jesus with skin on.

Wow… This is the constant challenge we face, isn’t it? … a least for me!  The one I battle most with is:  … I’ll leave you hanging, at least for a while :)

The corporal works of mercy are:

1. Feed the hungry

 2. Give drink to the thirsty

3. Clothe the naked
4. Shelter the homeless
5. Visit the sick
6. Visit those in prison
7. Bury the dead

The spiritual works of mercy are:
(1) Admonish sinners.
(2) Instruct the uninformed.
(3) Counsel the doubtful.
(4) Comfort the sorrowful.
(5) Be patient with those in error.
(6) Forgive offenses.
(7) Pray for the living and the dead.

The one I battle most with is:  ( 5 )  Be patient with those in error.  …wow… when here is total ignorance, I can do this… but obstinacy, or hardness of heart …or being ‘stiff necked’ … then, my patients wears thin . You know, it’s about Whole Hearted living, about having the courage to leave ‘our way’ or the ‘worlds way’, for HIS WAY …  or we’re going the WRONG WAY !

It’s about the Lordship of Jesus Christ. He is a gentle Lord, a Lover.  Do no be afraid!

Which do you battle with?

Let’s embrace Jesus… & each other in His Name. Whole Heartedly.

      :) Thanks Eugenie!
So true, we need a change of hearts…
We’ll also pray for Wisdom & Character to respond appropriately to all, so Jesus can break new ground & set captives free!
      His Way is so awesome.
