“Do NOT be satisfied with mediocrity! The world will offer you comfort. But you were not made for comfort. You were made for greatness!” ~ John Paul II.
What image do I give?
So often I need to draw back from the hustle of life & remember to have a fresh look at who I am, where I’m headed, what path I’m traveling… what is the outcome of such a road, or a way of life, action or attitude.
Do I give the right image?
Is it Jesus, others see when I approach?
Never Forget: we were made for greatness! John Paul the Great was always reminding us of our origin & our destiny, our Beginning is in God, & our Destiny is God. This is a magnificent calling & purpose. It’s empowering & Life-giving.
Sometimes I feel like I’ll never truly win, & I have to shake the despondency off & realize it’s not about my effort… !
It’s about His Effort. I just need to Co-operate!
“As followers of Christ, we must bring Him and His word of life back into every sphere of human activity, for a world without Christ is a world that knows neither its origin nor its destiny and will turn against man himself.”
So my Origin: is Love.
My Destiny: is Love.
How wonderful. He is the Power House behind it all. I don’t have to be great, because He is Great. He is my Greatness! “It is no longer I who lives, but Christ Who Lives in me”.
Love is… my Beginning.
Love is… my Ending.
May all that I do be Love.
I’ve started watching reactions. Do I give Life …? Are others around me MORE THEMSELVES, are they Better for having been in my presence? Do my words Up-lift or smash down? Do they give true Life or do they crush? Am I, like God, in the Redemption Business?
Do I image God? Do I image God Who raises the lowly? Is my attitude to each person pro-life … or Life-giving? I want to save babies, their Mothers, Fathers & executioners too! Because all are called to be great Saints! “What the world needs most, is for you to be great Saints!” ~ J.P.II. We are all called to be great Saints. Don’t miss the opportunity!
We were not called to mediocrity. Alleluia! What a relief!
Isaiah 58:8 “Then shall your light break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up speedily; your righteousness shall go before you, the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.”
What image do I give?
Is it Love?
What is my Self Image?
I am God’s Image. Because He made it that way. Let me be a True Image, one with out distortion. God is not made in my image. Do I image Him? Do I look like my Father?
Beloved, You Who Are Love Incarnate! Come to my aid! You who made me to be Your Very Likeness – be praised! You Who raise the lowly, live in me. Be my Breath. I want to be true to You. So help me God. You Who Are the Human Face of God & the Divine Face of Man lift us to Your Cheek, kiss away our imperfections, dry our tears, put a new Spirit within us, that we may Live. That we may Love in Your Name. That we may bear Your Image & Likeness. The Glory of God is man fully alive. Thank You Jesus. That others may live, because we live. We praise You Jesus. You came that we might have Life & have it to the full. How wonderful You Are! Thank You for being our Origin & our Destiny. Thank You for Being LOVE & calling us out of darkness, into Your Glorious Light! Come be our Light. Let Your Spirit come fall upon us now, let Your Spirit come…

I really like this comment you made and want to share it at my women’s bible study:
