Papa’s Prayer Intentions: March 2012

The Holy Father’s Prayer Intentions for this month:

General Intention: Recognition of the Contribution of Women.

That the whole world may recognize the contribution of women to the development of society.

Missionary Intention: Perseverance / Faithfulness of Persecuted Christians.

That the Holy Spirit may grant perseverance to those who suffer discrimination, persecution, or death for the name of Christ, particularly in Asia.

    I do very much recognize the contributions of women especially in the Church. Women are carrying an enormous weight in the lay faithful and it is due time men “man up” and take some of this burden off them so the faith can blossom as it saw meant to.
